Royal Enclosure Ascot
Well Ponygurls do go to Ascot sometimes as long as they don't have to mix with the hoi polloi.
Seriously; the Royal Enclosure is gentile Britain at its best, and the rest of the course is ruined by drunkedness and uncouth behaviour. It isn't a matter of snobbery but of behaviour. Racecourses take note: encourage fashion and finery not lager and louts. The horses, jockeys and stable staff, racecourse catering staff and all the effort of preparing horses and course for a special day should not be ruined by impropriety.
Model Eliza C at the course in the riding mistress jacket in a summer weight material created wonderfully by seamstress Lenka without losing the structure. Teamed with a 1940's style dress with fitted pencil sheath also created by the team of David and Lenka.
Shown also with an alternative look with fur cape muff and rabbit felt leopard print hat.
